TCI has an immediate need for an Application Support Analyst in Louisville, KY. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a Direct Hire opportunity.
SUMMARY
The Application Support Analyst will be responsible for providing business user and systems support for all activities relating to a new ERP platform (PDI Enterprise) in a finance/accounting environment. This person will become the subject matter expert (SME) or "go to" person for the new ERP system.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Audit, understand, document, and maintain business processes as they relate to an ERP system.
  • Act as a bridge between IT and other areas of the business in all things related to the ERP system.
  • Act as a liaison between the company and the ERP Software vendor for technical and support issues which need escalation to the provider.
  • Act as gatekeeper for reporting found bugs/issues to ERP Software provider, ownership of tickets both internal and external that relate to ERP platform.
  • Work with other departments to train/educate Team Members on the basic functionality of the ERP systems and processes.
  • Provide technical assistance and support of the ERP system to multiple departments within the business.
  • Learn and support other business critical applications.
  • Provide 2nd level support for internal and remote users.
  • Support the development, configuration and testing of new applications and features.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum Associates Degree in a related field and 4 years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting processes and procedures (understanding of budgets, financials).
  • Basic knowledge of workflow analysis and design.
  • Basic understanding of relational databases, SQL (able to perform a simple SQL query).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, ability and desire to learn our proprietary applications and ERP Platforms.
  • Knowledge of business application support, troubleshooting, and problem diagnosis.
  • Strong knowledge of a retail business environment and systems.
  • Solid analytical and technical skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
