TCI has an immediate need for an ASP.NET Developer in Findlay, OH. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity. Our enterprise level client is the largest transportation fuels refiner in the Nation.
Our Client is looking for a Software Developer to maintain existing applications as well as assist in providing day-to-day support for internal clients. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and possess strong analytical, organization and communication skills. The candidate must have the ability to work with individuals from multiple business units at a variety of locations, external vendors and a dynamic IT support staff. The position includes supporting existing systems and working on projects that directly affect business clients. This position offers opportunities working with a team of IT professionals and business partners.
  • This role is supporting Client's Transportation & Logistics Application Development.
  • Translating business requirements from business partners into specifications.
  • Interacting with the business on application questions, and planning enhancements.
  • Will be focusing on supporting vendor applications for the Transport Operations group, as well as working on .Net application support.
  • 4-7 years of development experience including ASP.NET (MVC, WebForms), C#, VB, JavaScript, Entity Framework.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is strongly desired.
  • Familiarity with modifying/upgrading existing code.
  • Business analysis experience - face time with clients (internal or external) to gather requirements.
  • Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Experience working on a team.
Nice to have, but not required
  • Experience integrating systems together (through web services, APIs, etc.).
  • Experience with reporting tools (SSRS, Tableau, etc.) for creating dashboards and analytics.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
