Job Description

TCI has an immediate need for a C# and C++ Software Engineer in Simi Valley, CA. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the possibility of hire. NOTE: This position requires US Citizenship.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support our Windows Desktop application.
  • The program includes a suite of tools including a map feature, data reduction, and link protocol interfaces.
  • The position will require programming, technical documentation, agile development, code reviews and on-site support.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to be detailed-oriented and to prioritize work and meet quick turnaround deadlines.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
  • Competent in C# and C++ development.
  • At least 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
  • Ability to work well and cooperate successfully in a team.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Simi Valley, CA.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • WPF/XAML experience.
  • Data link protocol knowledge (Link-16/DIS).
  • Graphics experience (DirectX, etc).
  • Experience with JIRA, Jenkins, Git, Subversion and TortoiseSVN/Git.
  • Familiar with Agile development.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Visual Studio and Teams.
