TCI has an immediate need for a Cyber Security Engineer/Architect in Washington, DC. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the possibility of hire. SUMMARY
The Cyber Security Engineer develops actionable security blueprints, principles, models, designs, standards and guidelines to ensure enterprise information technology architecture and support is consistent, usable, secure and adds value to the business. This Security Engineer needs experience and subject matter expertise in Identity & Access Management applications, specifically SailPoint Identity IQ.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for supporting the Identity and Access Management program.
  • Working with the team responsible for the security architecture across a variety of applications or domains, to include cloud computing, and assigned to project/initiatives of large size, complexity and risk.
  • Develop a system security context and preliminary system security concept of operations (CONOPS), including baseline system security requirements.
  • Determine appropriate levels of system availability based on critical system functions; provides input on system requirements to address appropriate disaster recovery and continuity of operations requirements.
  • Analyze similarities and differences of an existing system and customer needs to identify protection needs for information system(s) and network(s); provides detailed specifications for technical needs of the infrastructure.
REQUIREMENTS
  • A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering/cyber discipline with at least 8+ years of professional experience; or equivalent experience/combined education; or 5 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience with planning and managing security engagements.
  • Sailpoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer or Sailpoint Certified IdentityIQ Architect certification highly desired.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with design, development and configuration components in SailPoint Identity IQ. Components includes workflows, rules, security policies, aggregation jobs, roles, certification campaigns, and application integration.
  • Strong experience evaluating acquisition documents against existing and proposed security architectures and designs by examining the security-relevant parts of a system and interrelationships within the enterprise.
  • CERTIFICATIONS: (One or more required) CompTIA Net+, CompTIA A, CompTIA Security +, CPTE - Certified Penetration Testing Engineer or CEH - Certified Ethical Hacker, CISSP, CISSP-ISSEP, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSMP (preferred) or CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor
  • Must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance prior to start.
