TCI has an immediate need for multiple Desktop Engineers in Louisville, KY. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a 3 to 6-month contract opportunity. The Desktop Engineer will participate in a hardware and software upgrade/refresh project.
  • Installation and configuration of end user devices and re-imaging of PCs using Windows 10 in a Healthcare environment.
  • Provide End user communication and technical support as needed.
  • Communicate with customers and team, to provide updates on open tickets as needed.
  • Work with an existing team to implement end user hardware to support an EMR.
  • 1 year of end user device installation and configuration experience.
  • Hardware installation and configuration: Computer, Printer, Scanner, Barcode scanners, and other peripheral devices.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Desktop Operating.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Working knowledge of IP networking.
  • Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.
  • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills. Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users.
PREFERRED (but not required):
  • Associates Degree, certifications, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working for an IT Service Provider.
  • Experience working in a Healthcare environment.
  • Experience with EMR’s.
  • Single Sign-On (SSO) application experience, preferred Impravata.
  • Industry certifications such as MCSA, MCSE.
  • Cerner EMR Experience.
  • HIPPA trained or certified.
