TCI has an immediate need for a Director of Infrastructure in the Louisville, KY area.  This is a Direct Hire opportunity and not available for Corp2Corp.

SUMMARY
The Director of Infrastructure will be reporting to the Vice President of Information Technology. The Director of Infrastructure will lead and manage a staff of up to 20 and have direct management of Database Administrators, System Engineers, Network Engineers and Service Desk/End User Support team.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the entire corporate network, including administration of existing facilities, planning for growth and expansion, and operation of all communication infrastructure.
  • Collaborate in the design and improvement of future infrastructure projects, policies & procedures, procurement and security that meet the needs of the business.
  • Design and promote system projects that include migrations to secure cloud environments including Microsoft M365/O365.
  • Manage & Guide Deskside Support team that supports 1550+ users, to include repair of equipment, software and network troubleshooting, new software installation and project delivery.
  • Manage hardware/software vendor relationships, to include strong participation with selected vendors, administration of bid processes and ordering/delivery of equipment/software.
  • Develop, monitor and report on key infrastructure metrics.
  • Participate in development of cost estimates for equipment, operating expenses, ROI calculations.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years of experience in system design, deployment, monitoring and maintenance of IT infrastructure in a large corporate or enterprise environment.
  • Proven experience with management and migration of cloud solutions.
  • Ability to work well with internal stakeholders, business units, and management and deliver what they need.
  • Solid knowledge of documenting work methods and procedures, and of creating repeatable, predictable processes.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment is a plus.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is strongly desired.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
 

  • Experience in healthcare is a plus!
  • Bachelor’s Degree in technology like Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering.
