TCI has an immediate need for a Disaster Recovery Support Analyst in Plano, TX. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the possibility of hire. The Disaster Recovery Support Analyst will create, maintain, and test the disaster recovery plans in support of CMS applications in multiple mainframe system environments
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This role is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the DR plans; documentation; data capture, restoration JCL, and abend resolution using change management processes; and use of automated tools.
  • This role works with other analysts and coordinators to test the validity and accuracy of the plans in multiple drills annually; will document issues, lessons learned, and apply corrective actions and process improvements.
  • This position is to create, maintain, and test the disaster recovery plans in support of CMS
  • applications in multiple mainframe system environments.
  • Knowledge of mainframe technologies is key to meeting performance measures.
  • Knowledge of healthcare claims processing a plus.
  • Disaster recovery and business continuity experience is also required.
 
REQUIREMENTS
  • Experienced mainframe 3-7 years with recent experience.
  • Job Control Language (JCL), IBM Mainframe platform, z/OS operating system, TSO/ISPF,... Demonstrated knowledge of Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity practices, tools, Disaster Recovery drill execution.
  • Risk identification, issue resolution, and management.
  • Ability to create and maintain documentation. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment with geographically separated coworkers. Knowledge of waterfall and agile development methodologies in support of project management.
  • Public Trust Security Clearance is required for this position.
