TCI has an immediate need for an Enterprise Network Administrator for a direct hire opportunity in Louisville, KY.
SUMMARY
The Enterprise Network Admin will be a part of team that supports the enterprise network consisting of LAN, WAN, VPN, Windows Servers and VMWare Servers. One will be responsible for planning, installation and documentation for specific infrastructure hardware and software, identifying areas for improvement, problem identification and resolution and education of other support and operations personnel. Performs all administrator duties relating to Server/PC hardware, software, network, telecommunications and security/access systems as well as provide excellent end-user support and business system availability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support & maintenance of enterprise systems & network including: WAN/LAN, Software
  • Applications, Windows Active Directory, Office 365, SQL Server, VMWare, Firewalls, Switches, Backup ecosystem (Veeam), anti-virus and anti-spam.
  • Maintain, support and diagnoses computer hardware, cabling, networking components and computer software.
  • Participates in planning and implementation of infrastructure and other IT-related projects
  • Manage accurate inventory and documentation of hardware & software licensing and assets.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve reported software/hardware issues, configuring new workstations, equipment move, change requests, and maintaining inventory.
  • Installation and maintenance of system backups, migrations, restores and data replication processes.
  • Maintain & support voice-related & data infrastructure components.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact with vendors.
  • Be part of a 24x7 on-call rotation.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years of experience with ENTERPRISE network infrastructure technologies (firewalls, switched Ethernet, TCP/IP, VPN; Network security, VMWare).
  • Strong understanding of network services including Active Directory, WINS, DNS and DHCP.
  • Solid knowledge with MS Exchange and Office 365.
  • Ability to support Microsoft infrastructure and Microsoft operating systems.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interface with all levels of staff from clerical to executive management.
DESIRED (nice to have) SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Certifications like MCSA, CompTIA A+. 
  • CCNA & MCSE strongly desired.
  • Experience with Fortinet, Veeam, Rukus, Office 365 Suite and Dell Hardware.
