TCI has an immediate need for a Hardware Test Engineer in Melbourne, FL. This is not a C2C opportunity. This is a contract to hire opportunity.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES US CITIZENSHIP AND A PUBLIC TRUST SECURITY CLEARANCE PRIOR TO START.
SUMMARY
The Hardware Test Engineer will support the test development and deployment of Technical Refresh projects. This engineer will drive and champion the test and evaluation processes for all test-related activities within mission-critical programs and be responsible for the development, coordination, implementation, and enforcement of test processes. As an I&T Engineer, you will be working to help support the global aviation community with advanced systems and services that significantly increase the safety, security, and capacity of global air traffic management systems to meet the growing demand of air transportation operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Service verification engineer for a major telecommunications program with strong potential to grow into an Integration & Test IPT Lead.
- Communicate and interface regularly with internal/external customers and program management.
- Develop and execute test procedures and report results to management team and customer.
- Coordinate with the project lead as required to close project actions and issues.
- Identify test risks and opportunities and report up to the project lead.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and report up to the project lead.
- Work technical issues to closure using a robust engineering process.
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
- System/Network Integration Testing Integration & Test Engineering Background as well as Telecommunications background (Central Office/Optical/TDM/IP Networks) minimum of four (4) years.
- Minimum of four (4) years of Telecommunication Test Equipment (Central Office/Optical/TDM/IP).
- Strong test experience is required.
- Outstanding people and interpersonal skills. Capable of working well with internal & external customers.
- High attention to detail.
- Obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
