TCI has an immediate need for an IT Hardware Technician in Findlay, OH. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity. Our enterprise level client is the largest transportation fuels refiner in the Nation.
The IT Hardware Technician is responsible for providing operational and technical support for roll out of standardized conference room equipment across all enterprise locations. Equipment will be based of Microsoft’s Skype and Teams Web Conferencing toolsets and bring audio, video, and content sharing into conferencing spaces.
  • Work in a team environment directed by a lead to focus on the build out, configuration, and standardization of conference room equipment as well as building and improving processes to increase the repeatability of standard build activities.
  • Daily responsibilities will include adhering to a build plan, which requires imaging, configuring, software loading, and deployment of new hardware to conference rooms as well as assisting in the monitoring and support of production equipment.
  • Responsible for Quality checks.
  • Responsible for support for end users.
  • Participate in periodic team meetings for knowledge sharing and planning.
  • Communicate desired enhancements and break fix items to Enterprise support teams
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Previous experience/knowledge of Windows 7/10, Office365, Skype, Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Teams, Remedy and/or ServiceNow.
  • Basic certifications or training such as A+ and higher are strongly preferred.
  • Must possess advanced PC skills, including operating system functionality, PC connections, hardware assembly including setup and configurations, imaging and troubleshooting, and WAN/WLAN.
  • The ability to lift and carry 20-40 pounds over extended periods of time.
  • Ability to follow detailed processes as the team lead prescribes.
  • Prior audio video experience is a plus.
  • Must be professional at all times and able to communicate with various levels of employees and contractors.
  • Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Work hours are typically Monday - Friday, 8 - 5 pm however the candidate must be flexible to meet the needs of the business when necessary; work hours may change depending on work responsibilities.
  • There is the potential for travel within the US to assist with remote roll out activities.
