TCI has an immediate need for an IT Infrastructure Operations Director in Lexington, KY. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Reporting directly to the CIO, the IT Director will be a member of executive leadership that is responsible for leading internal staff. You will be influencing senior leadership to understand advanced technical processes while developing solutions, advice, and reports for collaborative execution in an enterprise cloud environment.
  • Determines the best solutions to analyze, implement, or upgrade ERP, CRM, and BI applications for streamlined global IT infrastructure and business operations.
  • Assists in the establishment of operational and capital budgets in relation to departmental IT architectures, system infrastructures, and network databases.
  • Manages all technical environments while maintaining procedures, standards, and solutions that lead to consistent IT operations enforcement.
  • Participates in developing and maintaining a database of policies and procedures.
  • Creates and implements the department’s strategic road map to support enterprise objectives utilizing new and internal IT capabilities.
  • Leads appropriate department staff actions that enable strong security, risk-management, support, and network processes/outcomes.
  • Oversight of personnel, mentoring key individuals to promote the professional growth and role advancement of IT leaders from within the organization.
  • Works with other IT Directors and the CISO in decision making, disaster recovery, and business continuity responsibilities.
  • 10+ years of experience with hardware and software systems design, database maintenance, and network infrastructure planning in a senior role or higher.
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and resolve moderate to critical technical/cloud computing issues with an advanced skillset.
  • Proven ability to work both individually and with cross-functional teams in a senior role to influence an IT team towards a unified goal.
  • High level attention to detail and a strong understanding of IT systems, technology products, and business procedures.
  • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered with excellent people and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive individual able to thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with ERP systems, MS productivity tools, and MS operating systems.
  • High level understanding of websites, Apple iOS, and Android OS.
  • Experience supporting business & financial applications for an international enterprise.
