TCI has an immediate need for a Middleware Programmer in Melbourne, FL. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the possibility of hire. SUMMARY
The Software Developer will support our Government/Military client. The Software Programmer responsibilities will include developing and integrating software, evaluating COTS software and tools, and sustaining an existing system for the Data Comm Integration Services Program. As a member of the Networks software development team, the software engineer will work alongside various cross-functional teams to help define requirements, software architectures, APIs, frameworks and libraries to ensure the mission critical readiness and operations of the program. On-Call Support for the operational environment is expected.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop software as part of Agile development team following best practices and keep high standards of software quality within the team.
  • Leverage automation of tools and testing to increase quality of code.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to help define requirements, develop use cases, and generate estimates and work plans.
  • Active participation in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
  • Package and support deployment of releases.
  • Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications.
REQUIREMENTS
  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of object-oriented design methodology and Design Patterns.
  • Hands-on experience scripting and administering Linux and Windows environments.
  • Full understanding of Internetworking with TCP/IP.
  • HA experience/knowledge.
  • SQL or database experience/knowledge.
  • Experience with CI/CD Pipelines and automation.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance prior to start.
