TCI has an immediate need for a PC Installation Technician in Washington, DC. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the probability of becoming permanent. The Apple Device Installation Technician will provide onsite/desk side support and perform break fix on workstations and servers.
  • Installs, configures, and repairs computer equipment.
  • Perform moves, adds, and changes (IMACS).
  • Assists team members in solving Apple hardware/software issues.
  • Ensure maximum diagnosis cycle times are adhered to based upon severity level of the ticket.
  • Responds to the customer’s questions ensuring high level customer satisfaction by clarifying customer needs and ensuring they are met.
  • Handle customer relation problems promptly and appropriately, provide guidance, escalate issues according to established procedures.
  • 5+ years of PC support related experience and/or training, or A+ Certification or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Experience and technical skills in Windows Server, Windows Desktop, Mac OS clients, MS Exchange, MS Office, HP hardware, Cisco and Network Communications;
  • Experience with LAN/WAN, routing systems and TCP/IP.
  • OEM certification in the technology being applied such as MCP or ACSP.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills.
  • Must currently possess or have the ability to obtain a DoD Public Trust Security Clearance prior to start.
