TCI has an immediate need for an IT Project Manager in Findlay, OH. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity with possible extensions. The IT Project Manager will support projects for the Maintenance and Engineering Applications Team. The candidate will work with the project business partners and IT professionals to organize and coordinate the activities to meet each SDLC requirement. The candidate is responsible for ensuring IT standards are adhered to and supported. The position requires a strong understanding of project management and analysis skills. This role will entail the management of multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Help identify, monitor, and manage business requirements, analysis, IT activities, testing, budget, and risks/issues.
  • Work with Business Clients to identify business requirements.
  • Manage the interface and in-house built application work (analysis, design, and testing).
  • Liaison with the Project Leads, Project Managers and Technical Leads to coordinate work.
  • Identify resource and budget needs.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues. 
  • Assist with conducting thorough analysis of the proposed solutions to ensure proper decisions occur.
  • Be accountable for project deliverables.
  • Evaluate scope changes and associated impacts to the project.
  • Assist with building new project plans and provide weekly progress updates.
  • Present new ideas and project status updates through written and verbal communications.
  • Provide oversight to ensure projects are in compliance with established standards.
  • Work with IT PMO and Internal Audit to answer questions and provide guidance to project team members.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in an IT Project Management position.
  • Essential to be proactive. Must be able to identify next steps on the project and give guidance to project team members.
  • Strong critical thinking and analysis skills. Ability to efficiently gather data to evaluate an issue or identify an optimum solution. Ability to organize and collaborate across multiple business units.
  • Effectively manage time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Thoughtful authoring of clear and detailed Project Management.
  • Lead requirements and associated test cases to confirm quality.
  • PMP certification is desired.
