Job Description
TCI has an immediate need for a Remote DevOps Developer. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the possibility of hire. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designs, develops, implements, and maintains complex business, accounting, and management information systems.
- Works on complex assignments. Works with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives.
- Performs modifications to and maintenance of operational programs and procedures.
- Assists users in the operation of the application. Provides guidance to less experienced programmer/analysts.
- Performs all functional duties independently. Works on high-visibility programs, or mission critical aspects of assigned program(s).
- Oversees the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or is responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
- DevOps professional with minimum of 10 years of overall experience and minimum of 5 years of DevOPS production deployment experience.
- Experience supporting Kubernetes and ISTIO in medium-large production environments.
- Experience with Kubernetes Secure Containers, Deployment Automation, OIDC connect authentication.
- Experience in deploying an ISTIO Service Mesh Hybrid / Multi-cluster platform in a recent medium to large production environment. Experience with integrating ISTIO Service Mesh on-premises and provisioning in multi-cloud implementations: GCP, and Azure.
- Experience with Envoy Proxy Security SPIFFE Certs/ Traffic Management / MTLS / TLS.
- Experience with Geo Location.
- Experience with Mutual Authentication of Peers, and Private Keys with TLS/MTLS certs.
- Background with telemetry, observability and security and production deployment experience in Prometheus, Grafana, Kiali, Jaeger, SPIFFE/SPIRE.
- A degree from an accredited College/University in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline is preferred.
- Extensive experience collaborating with end users to define new software system requirements.
- Experience authoring or contributing to software-related documentation such as requirements specifications, design documents, technical manuals, and user manuals.
- Must be a US Citizen and eligible for a Public Trust Security clearance.
