TCI has an immediate need for a Remote Digital Telecommunications Specialist. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity.  This is a direct hire opportunity.
Preference is given to candidates who can work on-site in Nicholasville, KY full-time. Qualified candidates who desire hybrid or full remote working arrangements in the EST time zone will also be considered.

The Digital Telecom Specialist will be responsible for working with enterprise-level digital communications software and hardware to support a global team of users.
  • Monitors, identifies, and implements solutions regarding escalated tickets and VIP issues.
  • Serves on a global team to support the design, implementation, and management of digital communication networks (i.e., VoIP, Microsoft Teams, paging systems, hardware & devices).
  • Troubleshoots technical platforms for plants and offices (i.e., Counterpoint POS, MS Teams) and researches new technology.
  • Performs upgrades/updates on firmware/software, assisting with MS Teams configuration/support and other duties as assigned.
  • Logs up-to-date and detailed enterprise-wide records of POTS and PRI infrastructure in conjunction with technical support of legacy hardware.
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, or similar degree.
  • 1+ year of experience supporting physical & cloud applications, networks, and architecture including Microsoft solutions (i.e., Teams, Phone, O365, and Azure Active Directory)
  • Good understanding of cloud-based communication tools such as hardware and software telephone components (i.e., Microsoft).
  • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered with excellent people and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work both individually and with cross-functional global teams in a support role.
