TCI has an immediate need for a Remote .NET Developer in Melbourne, FL or Remote.  This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. The Senior Software Developer will create .Net Core web applications for internal use by various business segments. One will support web architecture, legacy applications, enterprise-wide applications and software upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain .Net Core applications using Visual Studio as part of an Agile team using Scrum.
  • Evaluate and recommend web architecture and process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot, upgrade, and rewrite web applications developed in-house and by external developers.
  • Provide operation and maintenance support of enterprise-wide web applications.
  • Maintain Jenkins pipelines in support of CI/CD.
  • Maintain Azure DevOps Pipelines to support CI/CD.
  • Develops test procedures, software programs, and related documentation.
  • Contributes to determining, estimating, and validating the cost and scope of software efforts to ensure product meets project cost, schedule, and technical constraints.
  • Senior professional with strong knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of project management.
  • Manages complex projects or processes with general oversight.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years prior related experience.
  • 6+ years of experience with .Net Core, SQL Server, C#.NET, MVC, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular.js.
  • Must be able to write maintainable code.
  • Remote work is a possibility to support work performed in Melbourne, FL.
  • 3+ years of experience with Web APIs and/or Windows Services.
  • 3+ years of experience working on a Scrum/Agile team.
  • 3+ years of experience using GIT/SVN/TFS, Azure DevOps and JIRA, Bitbucket and Jenkins
  • Experience as a senior or lead developer on a medium to large project.
  • Ability to create user-friendly front-end user experience.
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, or EF Core.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, SASS, TypeScript, Telerik Kendo, jQuery, Bootstrap.
  • Capable of gathering and interpreting requirements, have used source control, and can review code, locate problems, provide and receive feedback on code.
  • Strong knowledge of software architecture methodologies.
