TCI has an immediate need for a Remote Senior Systems Administrator. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity.  This is a direct hire opportunity.
Preference is given to candidates who can work on-site in Nicholasville, KY full-time. Qualified candidates who desire hybrid or full remote working arrangements in the EST time zone will also be considered.

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for working with enterprise-level hosting environments to support global server infrastructure in an on-premise and virtual/Azure fashion.
  • Monitors, identifies, and implements solutions regarding server performance and capacity issues.
  • Serves as a SME and lead on a global team to design, implement, and support infrastructure components, systems, software, and equipment.
  • Manages technical platforms for plants and offices such as Exchange, DNS, Windows Server, SSL, DBMS, Citrix, VMware, and Azure, etc.
  • Performs enterprise disaster recovery, software patches, and electronic asset security measures while working with global teams to plan and implement.
  • Logs up-to-date and detailed enterprise-wide records of global server infrastructure and services in conjunction with coordinating business continuity plans.
  • Participates in an on-call rotation, project implementations, troubleshooting escalated platform issues, and other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, or similar degree.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting physical & cloud applications, networks, and architecture including Azure Virtual WAN services.
  • Experience working with SDWan devices and solutions (i.e., CATO).
  • Good understanding of cloud-based communication tools such as hardware and software telephone components (i.e., Microsoft).
  • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered with excellent people and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work both individually and with cross-functional global teams in a senior or team lead role.
