TCI has an immediate need for a Remote SharePoint Administrator. This is a direct hire opportunity. In addition to competitive, market-rate based pay, the available benefits package includes Comprehensive Medical/Dental/Life/Disability Insurance and 401k.

Preference is given to candidates who can work on-site in Nicholasville, KY full-time. Qualified candidates who desire hybrid or full remote (EST) working arrangements will also be considered.

The SharePoint Administrator will be responsible for working with a global workforce to support installations, configurations, and implementations in both on-premise and on-line environments.

  • Monitors trends such as usage and growth of sites, accounts, and disk space. Sets up alerts, enforces policies, and reviews events.
  • Serves as a SharePoint auditor, identifying and reporting governance violations within a global team environment.
  • Manages user permissions and the analysis of usage, activity, content, and storage.
  • Performs business user trainings, regular reviews, and support duties on usage and data backup.
  • Moves/copies SharePoint sites, cleans and manages the configuration of accounts and sites.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting and administering an enterprise class SharePoint environment.
  • Moderate understanding of the following:
    • Windows OS and hardware
    • Server administration including service packs/hot fixes
    • Networking including IP/DNS/load balancing (availability, scalability, maintainability)
    • IIS administration, website operations, application pools, ports, SSL (security and wildcard certs)
    • SharePoint central, event log, search administration and troubleshooting, PowerShell administration modules, concepts of a farm, service packs, and cumulative updates
    • Microsoft Power platform and SharePoint platform workflows.
    • Debugging and troubleshooting skills and techniques for the above areas of knowledge and understanding
  • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered with excellent people and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work both individually and with cross-functional global teams in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Experience working with Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, SQL Server, and Nintex.
