TCI has an immediate need for a ServiceNow Administrator in Raleigh, NC. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the probability of extensions. SUMMARY
The ServiceNow Administrator is responsible for the maintenance, support, and operations of ServiceNow production instances. This includes ensuring functionality and usability are aligned with the organization’s priorities, enabling delivery teams to do their work effectively.  LOCAL OR REMOTE WORK IS ACCEPTABLE.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The ServiceNow Administrator is responsible for diagnosing and resolving application issues to ensure optimal performance and usability and providing root cause analysis with recommendations for improvements.
  • The ServiceNow Administrator will be accountable for performing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly operations tasks required for the ongoing functionality of the platform.
  • Some scripting and debugging duties will be required in order to troubleshoot and fix various issues.
  • Works to resolve ServiceNow Incidents in a fast and solution-oriented manner.
  • Identifying and documenting problems.
  • Assisting in the creation and maintenance of Knowledge Articles.
  • Collaborating across functional lines to understand and resolve issues.
  • Understanding and supporting custom ServiceNow platform applications.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have 2+ years of proven experience as a ServiceNow administrator with a deep understanding of ServiceNow best practices.
  • Advanced skill in configuring and supporting ServiceNow.
  • ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator (preferred).
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills required with exemplary communication ability, both written and verbal.
  • Proven experience with JavaScript and configuring workflows.
  • Strong ITIL/SDLC background and debug/troubleshooting skills.
  • Advanced ability to research, analyze and recommend improvements to the organization’s use of the system.
  • Skill in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal, non-verbal and written; and ability to communicate on all levels of the organization.
  • LOCAL OR REMOTE WORK IS ACCEPTABLE.
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance prior to start.
