TCI has an immediate need for a Senior Mobility Technical Lead position in Findlay, OH. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity. Our enterprise level client is the largest transportation fuels refiner in the Nation. Our Client is looking for a Mobility Technology Leader, someone with Architect potential (technical enough to understand a technology roadmap but also accountable to drive it forward and comfortable selling it to management).
This position comes with the responsibility to roadmap and execute on technology leading to the management, configuration, user enablement, and protection of mobile computing devices. Today that entails responsibility for our Enterprise Mobility Management Platform (XenMobile and Intune) however this position will lead the technology through the next evolution of management for mobile computing as PC and cellular based endpoints continue to converge. Architecture, business analytics, end user experience, troubleshooting skills, critical thinking, and an enterprise level mindset are essential.
  • Administer environment providing support to over 13,000 mobile devices.
  • Drive change from existing Enterprise Mobility Management environment (Citrix XenMobile) to a replacement technology, Microsoft Intune. Experience with Azure, XenMobile, and Intune are a plus.
  • Work with IT and business professionals to drive availability of mobile applications and enable our workforce to continue progressing toward anytime anywhere computing.
  • Set direction for Corporate and BYOD policies and procedures.
  • Develop a strategy to expand the mobile BYOD program, working with HR, Legal, and Admin Services.
  • Understand management and security functionality within the Intune platform and drive policies to enable and protect both Android and iOS mobile devices.
  • Using Intune, drive modern device management toward workstation (PC) management in addition to mobile (iOS) management. PC management increases potential supported Intune scope to 50,000 devices.
  • Evaluate and document new mobile hardware.
  • Work with the Help Desk, Internal, and contract support teams to provide Tier 3 support for Mobility trouble tickets.
  • Provide afterhours support (for high priority issues and requests) as required.
  • Coordinate ongoing mobile communication, awareness campaigns, and training within client organizations.
  • Develop and conduct training for clients in both written and verbal communications.
  • Ensure internal mobility site (Mobility U) training documentation and issues lists remain current.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as required.
  • Conduct self-audits to ensure adherence to IT standards and procedures.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field is strongly desired.
  • Technical background requirements include development experience with SQL, Programming languages and concepts, web development, scripting, PowerShell.
