Job Description
TCI has an immediate need for a Sr. Oracle / ColdFusion Developer in Washington, DC. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the possibility of hire. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining complex Web-based software systems.
- Developing/supporting software applications using Java and more than one of these software technologies: Active Server Pages (ASP), JavaScript, Oracle DBMS, SQL Server DBMS, Visual Basic, JavaScript, MS Access, HTML.
- Collaborating with end users to define new Web-based software system requirements.
- Authoring or contributing to software-related documentation such as requirements specifications, design documents, technical manuals, and user manuals.
- Minimum of 10 years of software development, with at least 7 years of experience in Web-based design/development.
- A degree from an accredited College/University in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline is preferred
- Knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server database environments including:
- Adobe ColdFusion Enterprise version 9 through current releases
- Java
- Apache/Tomcat 9.0.xx
- Microsoft Office 365 - SharePoint, Teams
- SAP Business Objects Enterprise
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments
- Knowledge of desktop user applications including:
- Microsoft Office 2013 to current versions
- Adobe Acrobat Professional
- SAP Crystal Reports 2011 and newer
- Dashboard applications
- Extensive experience developing/supporting software applications using Java and more than one of these software technologies: Active Server Pages (ASP), JavaScript, Oracle DBMS, SQL Server DBMS, Visual Basic, JavaScript, MS Access, HTML.
- Extensive experience collaborating with end users to define new Web-based software system requirements.
- Extensive experience authoring or contributing to software-related documentation such as requirements specifications, design documents, technical manuals, and user manuals.
- Position is based in Washington DC. Work is performed hybrid 2 days per week on-site and 3 days per week is telework.
- Must currently possess or have the ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance prior to start.
