Job Description

TCI has an immediate need for a Sr. Oracle / ColdFusion Developer in Washington, DC. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the possibility of hire. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining complex Web-based software systems.
  • Developing/supporting software applications using Java and more than one of these software technologies: Active Server Pages (ASP), JavaScript, Oracle DBMS, SQL Server DBMS, Visual Basic, JavaScript, MS Access, HTML.
  • Collaborating with end users to define new Web-based software system requirements.
  • Authoring or contributing to software-related documentation such as requirements specifications, design documents, technical manuals, and user manuals.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 10 years of software development, with at least 7 years of experience in Web-based design/development.
  • A degree from an accredited College/University in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline is preferred
  • Knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server database environments including:
    • Adobe ColdFusion Enterprise version 9 through current releases
    • Java
    • Apache/Tomcat 9.0.xx
    • Microsoft Office 365 - SharePoint, Teams
    • SAP Business Objects Enterprise
    • Knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments
  • Knowledge of desktop user applications including:
    • Microsoft Office 2013 to current versions
    • Adobe Acrobat Professional
    • SAP Crystal Reports 2011 and newer
    • Dashboard applications
  • Extensive experience developing/supporting software applications using Java and more than one of these software technologies: Active Server Pages (ASP), JavaScript, Oracle DBMS, SQL Server DBMS, Visual Basic, JavaScript, MS Access, HTML.
  • Extensive experience collaborating with end users to define new Web-based software system requirements.
  • Extensive experience authoring or contributing to software-related documentation such as requirements specifications, design documents, technical manuals, and user manuals.
  • Position is based in Washington DC.  Work is performed hybrid 2 days per week on-site and 3 days per week is telework.
  • Must currently possess or have the ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance prior to start.
