Job Description
TCI has an immediate need for a RedHat Systems Administrator in Melbourne, FL. On-site only; No remote. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a long-term contract. SUMMARY
The RedHat Systems Administrator will provide support during the development of a new OSS system by provisioning and managing the virtual environments (VM) and installing and configuring the Linux based Red Hat Operating System.

The RedHat Systems Administrator will provide support during the development of a new OSS system by provisioning and managing the virtual environments (VM) and installing and configuring the Linux based Red Hat Operating System.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and maintain the system hardware performance.
- Ensures that system hardware, software, and related procedures adhere to the systems design and architecture.
- Manage system access user accounts and develop the procedures for system configuration to support production builds.
- Assist program teams with technical analysis and support the testing and roll-out of new patches.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT Security or related field with minimum (9) years of prior related experience or Graduate degree with a minimum of (7) years of prior related experience.
- Minimum of (2) years of experience working with RedHat.
- Minimum of (2) years of experience with Storage Configuration and Troubleshooting (Preferably NetApp).
- Minimum of (2) years of experience managing projects.
- Minimum of (2) years of experience working independently and pushing tasks to completion.
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance.
- Cisco Networking Experience.
- Experience with continuous integration, build management, and/or automated test frameworks.
- Hardware/software requirement verification/system validation experience.
- Experience using SW development tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, etc.
- Experience with AutoCAD and developing engineering drawings.
